Privacy Policy

Zaad does not collect your personal data. There is no account, nothing to sign in to, and no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind in the app.

What stays on your device

Everything you make in Zaad stays on your device. None of it is sent to us:

• Your reading position in the Quran, hadith and duas
• Bookmarks and collections
• Recent searches
• Settings such as reading mode, script, text size, theme and chosen reciter
• Any translations, tafsirs or recitations you have downloaded

Deleting the app removes all of it. We have no copy, because we never had one.

What leaves your device

The Quran, all ten hadith collections and the duas are inside the app and need no connection. Zaad only uses the network when you ask it to. There are two cases:

• Downloading optional content. Additional translations, tafsirs and hadith translations are fetched from zaad-content.zaad.workers.dev.
• Playing or downloading recitation. Audio is served by download.quranicaudio.com and tarteel.ai.

These requests carry what any web request carries: which file you asked for, and your IP address, which the server needs to send the file back. We do not profile you with it, combine it with anything else, sell it or share it. No identifier, account, reading history or search term is ever sent.

If you never download optional content and never play recitation, Zaad makes no network requests at all.

Children

Zaad is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collected anything, we would say so here before it shipped.
