Reporting a mistake in the text

Corrections to the Quran text, a translation, a hadith or a dua are the most important messages we get, and they are always welcome. Please include the exact reference (surah and ayah, or book and hadith number) and what you are seeing. If it helps, a screenshot is ideal.

Common questions

Why do Madani and IndoPak have different page numbers?

Because two mushafs break their lines differently, so the same ayah sits on a different page in each. Zaad follows whichever printing you have chosen rather than forcing one page map onto both, which would misprint one of them.

Does it work without a connection?

Yes. The Quran, all ten hadith collections and the duas are inside the app. Only optional extra translations, tafsirs and recitation audio are downloaded, and once a reciter is downloaded that works offline too.

Can I change the tajweed colours?

Not currently. Each rule has one colour so that a rule can be recognised by its colour, and the set is chosen so no two are easily confused in either light or dark mode.

How do I free up space?

Saved → ⋯ → Settings → Downloads lists everything you have downloaded, by kind, with its size. Swipe any row to remove it.
